Two Years…

Today marks two years since we lost Kirsten.

It is a painful anniversary and it’s not a date we aim to memorialize, but one that inevitably brings the weight of absence, of grief, and of a life gone far too soon.

Rather than let this day be swallowed by sorrow, I’ve come to believe it’s better to meet it with intention. Take a walk. Sit in the sun. Head to the beach. Make something with your hands. Channel what hurts into something gentle, something creative. Let beauty answer loss.

Most of all, hold your people close. Reach out, even if it’s been too long. Stay connected. Life is fragile, but our love for each other—when we choose to act on it—is enduring.

Thinking of Kirsten today, and thinking of all of you.

Love,

Jonah
